I obtained my LLB degree in 2007 and have been in active practice since then, building a broad practice across civil and commercial litigation, commercial and corporate law, property law, insolvency, debt collection, and divorce and family law.

Before joining Thomson Wilks Inc, I managed the litigation department of a reputable Cape Town law firm, gaining experience across a wide range of High Court and Magistrates' Court matters. During this period I also served on the panels of BMW Financial Services (South Africa) and NDC Credit Management, developing significant expertise in debt collection and asset financing disputes.

I now practise as a Consultant Attorney at Thomson Wilks Inc, one of South Africa's leading full-service law firms, from the firm's Cape Town office on the 18th Floor of 2 Long Street. My practice covers all the areas in which I have built experience, with a particular focus on civil litigation, commercial law, divorce and family law, and debt collection.

I appear regularly in the Western Cape High Court, the Johannesburg High Court, the Pretoria High Court, the KwaZulu-Natal High Court, and Magistrates' Courts. I also handle matters that require engagement with the Gauteng and Western Cape Divisions of the High Court on an urgent or opposed basis.

My approach is straightforward: I assess matters honestly, advise clients on realistic prospects and practical options, and focus on achieving the best outcome as efficiently as possible. I believe that good legal advice means telling clients what they need to hear, not what they want to hear, and I apply the same thorough preparation and attention to detail to every matter, regardless of complexity or value.
